Awards:
    - Rush Running gift certificates for top three race finishers (male and female).
    - Rush Running pair of shoes for top series finishers (male and female).

    Note: Race awards apply to ~9 mile race participants only.

Safety / Weather:
If adverse weather conditions occur on the day of the event that could harm an individual (such as lightning) or harm the land (such as excessive rain), we will postpone the event to a different weekend. The information will be posted on this website, so please check this website before you leave for an event.

Misc:
   - Timing system uses a (low frequency) RFID reader and tag:
            * the participant will be provided with a wristband or keychain tag at registration
            * the participant must wear/carry the tag during the event
            * the participant will touch the tag to the RFID reader at the finish line
            * the participant's time will be recorded when they "scan" themselves
            * the participant will return the tag once "scanned" at the finish line
            *** if you run past the finish line without "scanning" yourself, your time will NOT be
                 recorded.  In other words, the race director will not be "scanning" you at the
                 finish line because he/she will be sitting behind the computer drinking a beer. ***
    - Dogs are allowed, but they will be banned from future events if other runners complain.
    - If you are caught cutting the course you will not receive any points or awards.
